Black Rock: The Begining of the End - Initial Reactions

Black Rock LOST Podcast: Season 4 Episode 1 of ABC’s hit TV show, LOST entitled The Beggining of the End. New for Season 4 is our Inital reactions show where we meet on TalkShoe shortly after the episodes airs. I am joined by some long time BR fans and members from the Lostaholics community site.

Please, please, please fix the way you link to your podcast mp3 file. It always saves as "redirect.mp3" due to the redirect from podtrac. This is extremely annoying. I have taken to manually editing the URL and bypassing the redirect so that it will save with the correct file name. If you don't want your listeners to bypass your podtrac redirect, please fix it so that it saves with the correct file name.

Hmm, I have to confess that I never downloaded a show that way before and now see what you mean. Not sure what I can do differently for this post as I need the potrac stats to monitor stuff.

Can I suggest you visit the talkshoe page where there is a download button?

I'll re-asses my need for podtrac in the interim as TalkShoe does track downloads as well.

I have poked around and I think what might be the easiest is to go to the RSS icon in the TalkShoe player. The link on that page behaves properly.

Sound good, Curt. Thanks! :)

I gather you will still do another regular podcast, not just this "Initial Reactions" one, right? Will you continue with the "Initial Reactions" in the future? I know Big-O already has one, but quite frankly, I'm a bit annoyed with the cackling of some of the participants over there... Hope I don't offend anyone - it's just how I feel.

Keep up the great work!

Yes we will be doing two shows a week this season. It was with real regret that I am not doing Big-O's show. I had really enjoyed that last season but I also felt a need to do more for the communities that support and promote my show and a LIVE Talkshoe event seemed a natural fit.

The whole LOST podcast and forum community is entirely over saturated but then, what's one more! Not bad for the listeners though who are spoiled for choice.
